The Holy Cross men's basketball team hits the road this weekend, heading to Bucknell for a 2:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, Feb. 12. The game between the Crusaders and the Bison will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+, and on WQMY TV in Scranton / Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Holy Cross has won four out of its last five games, including a 68-64 victory over Loyola (Md.) on Wednesday night. The Crusaders now stand 7-16 overall this season with a 5-6 mark in Patriot League play. Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League in blocked shots (3.8 blocks per game), while standing fourth in steals (6.4 steals per game).

Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 15.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, while hitting 70.0 percent of his foul shots. Freshman guard
Kyrell Luc has also been playing well, with averages of 13.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest. In addition, sophomore guard
Bo Montgomery has averaged 8.1 points and 2.3 boards per game.
Bucknell currently has an overall record of 6-19 on the season, including a 3-10 mark in the Patriot League. The Bison are coming off a 68-66 victory over American on Wednesday, and have won two their last two home games. Senior guard Andrew Funk has led the team by averaging 17.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, while hitting 77.0 percent of his free throws. Junior guard Xander Rice has added 11.9 points and 4.0 assists per contest, with sophomore center Andre Screen chipping in 11.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
After the game with Bucknell, Holy Cross will return home to face American on Monday, Feb. 14, at 7:00 p.m.
