Jack Ostrosky scored goals less than two minutes apart in the second half, as the Holy Cross men's soccer team came from behind to post a 3-2 victory over Manhattan at Linda Johnson Smith Stadium. The Crusaders improve to 1-0-1 on the season with the win, while the Jaspers fall to 1-1-0 overall.
Manhattan opened the scoring in the 39th minute when Harry Bark took a long pass from Ronan O'Brien and found the net from 14 yards out in the left side of the box. Holy Cross responded less than a minute later on a goal by junior midfielder

Zachary Schubert took a throw in from junior defender
Taj Salawu and touched the ball to Kranz, who dribbled toward the center of the field before scoring from 24 yards out.
During the first minute of the second half, the Jaspers regained the lead when Matias Leaniz found Oswald Annang for a goal from 10 yards out on the left side. Manhattan held onto the lead until the 82nd minute, when McGonigle one timed a pass from senior forward Max Kruase and scored from 22 yards out above the left side of the box. Then in the 83rd minute, Ostrosky scored what proved to be the game winning goal from 14 yards out in the penalty box off an assist from freshman forward
Evan Jones.
The Crusaders finished the game with a 15-6 advantage in shots, while both teams took four corner kicks.
Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 4, when it plays host to Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m.
