AMHERST, Mass.— The Holy Cross women's track and field team triumphed over the University of Massachusetts and Merrimack in its first outdoor meet of the season.
Down by 8.5 points going into the final event on day two of the meet, the Crusaders' pole vaulters finished one, two, three to clinch the come-from-behind victory over UMass. Holy Cross finished with 135.5 team points to UMass' 135.
Christa Jay Moore won the pole vault event with a mark of 3.81m. Annie Lineberger posted a personal record finishing in second-place with a mark of 3.76 meters.
