The Holy Cross men's basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 24, when travels to Boston University for a 7:00 p.m. game. The contest between the Crusaders and the Terriers will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+. 

Wednesday's match-up will be the sixth game between Holy Cross and Boston University this year. This will mark only the sixth time in NCAA Division I men's basketball history that two teams have faced each other six or more times in a single season.

Holy Cross stands 4-11 overall this season, after splitting a pair of games with Army West Point last weekend. Junior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 16.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest this year, while hitting 74.3 percent of his free throws. Senior guard Austin Butler has added 15.1 points, 9.0 boards and 1.6 steals per contest, while senior forward Matt Faw is chipping in with 11.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game.

Boston University enters the game with an overall mark of 5-8 on the season. The Terriers have lost two straight games, including a 78-63 setback at Colgate on Sunday. Senior guard Javante McCoy has led the team by averaging 15.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, while hitting 79.6 percent of his foul shots. Junior forward Walter Whyte has put up 13.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest, with senior forward Sukhmail Mathon contributing 11.4 points and 7.9 boards per game. 

Following the Boston University game, the Crusaders are tentatively scheduled to face Colgate on Feb. 27 and 28.
