The Holy Cross men's basketball team will open up a three-game road swing when it heads to Central Connecticut for a 7:00 p.m. contest on Wednesday, Dec. 1. The game between the Crusaders and the Blue Devils will be shown live by NEC Front Row. 

Holy Cross enters the game with an overall record of 2-5 on the year. The Crusaders are coming off a 70-55 setback against New Hampshire on Saturday and will be looking for their first road win of the season. Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League in three-point field goal percentage (38.8 percent) and blocked shots (4.9 blocks per game), while standing second in rebounding margin (+5.6 boards per game).

Freshmen guard Kyrell Luc has led the Crusaders by averaging 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, while hitting 47.4 percent (nine of 19) of his attempts from three-point range. Sophomore guard Judson Martindale has also been playing well, with averages of 11.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest. In addition, senior forward Gerrale Gates has averaged 11.0 points and 6.8 boards per game.

Central Connecticut currently has a 1-6 overall record this season. After starting the year at 0-5, the Blue Devils defeated Maine 64-56 on Nov. 23 and lost to Fordham 89-83 in double overtime on Nov. 28. Junior guard Nigel Scantlebury leads the team by averaging 9.7 points and 3.0 assists per game, and has hit 42.9 percent (nine of 21) of his three-point field goal attempts. Freshman forward Jayden Brown has added 9.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest, while senior forward Stephane Ayangma is chipping in with 8.4 points and 4.4 boards per game. 

After the game with Central Connecticut, Holy Cross will travel to La Salle for a 2:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, Dec. 4.
