WORCESTER, Mass— The Holy Cross field hockey team was edged by the La Salle Explorers, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon at Hart Turf Field.

La Salle's (7-9, 3-3 A-10) Tatum Johnson scored the lone goal of the game, just over 11 minutes into the contest. Holy Cross (6-9, 1-4 PL) was unable to find the equalizer against the Explorers.

Sophomore Brooke Ross made several quality saves for the Crusaders and ended her day with five saves overall. La Salle's goalie Ryan Curley made two saves on the day.

Junior Sinead Walsh and sophomore Allie McDonough led the Crusaders with two shots each.
