Women's hockey hits road to face Vermont, Northeastern

The Holy Cross women's hockey team hits the road for a pair of Hockey East contests, starting with a trip to Burlington, Vermont, to face the University of Vermont on Friday, Oct. 22. The Crusaders will then travel to Boston to face No. 6 Northeastern on Sunday, Oct. 24. Friday's contest is set to begin at 6:00 p.m., while Sunday's game is slated for 4:30 p.m.

Sunday's contest will additionally be aired on NESN.

Things To Know About The Crusaders (1-5, 0-2 Hockey East):
  • Holy Cross split a weekend series with Franklin Pierce on Oct. 15 and 16, earning a 2-0 win over the Ravens at home in the opening contest.
  • In the victory, senior goaltender Jada Brenon made 25 saves en route to her third career shutout. She has recorded 159 saves this season.
