WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Holy Cross field hockey team fell to the No. 22 American Eagles, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon in Patriot League action.
American (8-3, 4-0 PL) poured in six goals in the first half against the Crusaders (5-8, 1-4 PL). Holy Cross managed to hold the ranked Eagles scoreless through the final two quarters, with sophomore
Brooke Ross entering in the second half and making two saves. Junior
Emma Lauber started the game for the Crusaders and made one save.

Emily Dionne all recorded a shot on goal for the Crusaders. American held a narrow 7-6 advantage in corners over the Crusaders.
