CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's hockey team was just edged out by No. 8 Boston College 3-2 Friday afternoon in the closest game the two sides have ever played.
Allison Attea and
Millie Sirum scored for the Crusaders and
Jada Brenon stood on her head in goal to almost beat the eighth-ranked Eagles for the first time in program history.

Sirum answered right back with her fourth goal of the season to pull the Crusaders back to even. With overtime looming Savannah Norcross, Boston College's leading scorer, found the game-winner.

Attea notched her first of the year in the second to take the Crusaders' first lead ever over the Eagles. Boston College would tie the game at the end of the frame, despite Brenon's 15 saves in the period. She finished the game with 34.
