WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross football team has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the Patriot League by Hero Sports. The Crusaders earned the top spot in the preseason conference rankings, followed by Lafayette, Fordham, Bucknell, Colgate, Lehigh and Georgetown.

Holy Cross is coming off a 2019 campaign in which it went 7-6 overall, won the Patriot League championship with a 5-1 mark in conference games and advanced to the NCAA football championship subdivision playoffs.
