WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior guard
Clayton Le Sann, a member of the Holy Cross men's basketball team, has been selected as the 2019-20 recipient of the Richard J. Maloney Award. Since 1981, the Maloney Award has been presented annually by the Holy Cross Varsity Club to the men's basketball player who best exemplifies Mr. Maloney's spirit and energy as a loyal contributor to the program.
As a senior, Le Sann appeared in 19 games for the Crusaders, starting three times. He totaled 56 points, 34 rebounds, 22 assists and 10 steals on the year. During the Feb. 8 game at Boston University, Le Sann scored a season-high 11 points.
Over the course of his four-year career with the Crusaders, Le Sann recorded 123 points, 64 rebounds, 34 assists and 17 steals. In 2018, he was named to both the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the ECAC Academic Honor Roll.
