Lineberger shines for women's track and field at URI Coaches Tribute

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Holy Cross women's track and field team competed at the University of Rhode Island Coaches Tribute on Saturday, Feb. 8.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Freshman Annie Lineberger won the pole vault, clearing an ECAC-qualifying and personal-best mark of 3.71 meters.
Junior Abbie Mokwuah posted an ECAC-qualifying mark of 16.27 meters in the weight throw to place third; she won the shot put with a mark of 13.67 meters.
Sophomore Kelsey O'Hara won the 500 meters in a time of 1:18.41. Junior Riemke Bouvier was sixth in a time of 1:21.54.
Junior Hailey Mulville and sophomore Sam Carroll finished in a tie for sixth place in the 400 meter dash with identical times of 1:02.10.
Juniors Cricket Richter (10:40.09), Caitlin Tzimorotas (10:40.34) and Mackenzie Jordan (10:44.76) finished in third through fifth place in the 3,000 meters.
Junior Marina MacKinnon and sophomore Grace Hoelscher teamed up with Mulville and O'Hara to place third in the 4x400 meter relay in a time of 4:10.00.
Sophomore Meah Austin was seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.55 meters.
Sophomore Paige Davis (2:26.38) finished ninth in the 800 meters, while freshman Carly Robinson (2:28.44) placed 10^th.
Sophomore KC Grady was 10^th in the 60 meter dash, running a personal-best time of 8.14 seconds.
Junior Alyson Walsh placed 10^th in the mile run in a time of 5:25.82.
Freshman Laura Turner placed 12^th in the 200 meter dash in a time of 27.15 seconds.
