WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head football coach
Bob Chesney has announced the addition of eight student-athletes to his team's incoming class for the 2020 season. Along with the 19 players who signed with the Crusaders in December, a total of 27 student-athletes will now be joining the squad in the fall.
The 27 student-athletes to sign with Holy Cross hail from 12 different states and one Canadian province, and include seven defensive backs, five defensive linemen, five offensive linemen, four wide receivers, two linebackers, two quarterbacks, one running back and one tight end.
The Crusaders will return 15 starters from their 2019 squad which went 7-6 overall, won the Patriot League championship with a 5-1 mark in conference games and advanced to the NCAA football championship subdivision playoffs.
