HOW IT HAPPENED:

- BU hit back-to-back threes to open the second half and cut within one point. Swords had a block to force a shot clock violation by the Terriers; she made a free throw before senior Madalyn Smith had a jumper and junior Jenay Faulkner drained a three to make it a seven-point game.
- The Terriers stuck around, with Pina giving BU its first lead of the game, 47-46, with 2:18 to go in the third. Another jumper by Tenisha Pressley pushed that lead to 49-46 before Swords and LaBarbera had back-to-back layups to put Holy Cross back ahead, 50-49, entering the fourth quarter.
