DURHAM, N.H. – The Holy Cross women's hockey team lost to New Hampshire, 3-0, Friday evening at the Whittemore Center.
The three-goal deficit is misleading as the Crusaders were in the game for the lengthy majority, trailing just 1-0 for more than two and a half periods. The Wildcats would add a second goal after the halfway point in the final frame and then a third with Holy Cross' net empty.
Jada Brenon made 32 saves in goal for the Crusaders.
Katie MacCuaig led all players in purple with four shots on goal, while
Rachel Moore was next with three.
