WORCESTER, Mass. – Head Holy Cross women's soccer coach Casey Brown has announced her incoming freshman class of 2024. The class is made up of eight student-athletes including Sydney Baldwin, Cerys Balmer, Francesca Ciatto, Phoebe Murphy, Allison Raynor, Alexis Riley, Mackenzie Wagner, and Ellie Zern.

"We are so excited to welcome these eight student athletes to our program," Brown said. "We feel they will bring in a high caliber of play from a variety of top clubs. Besides the impact we expect from them on the field during their four years, we are most excited about their overall fit for the standards and culture we have built with our women's soccer program here. We are eager to work with them and excited they will be joining us as Crusaders this upcoming August."

Sydney Baldwin | Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln-Sudbruy Regional

• Played varsity soccer under Head Coach Kate Grant
• Captained the team during her senior year
• Recorded 15 goals and 24 assists in her career
• Three-time DCL All-Star, two-time EMass All-Star
• Played for the Scorpions Soccer Club ECNL and Boston Breakers DA teams
• Member of the Student Senate in high school
• Three-time Lincoln-Sudbury Scholar

Cerys Balmer | Sherborn, Mass./Dover-Sherborn

• Played varsity soccer under Head Coach Evren Gundez
• Two-time team captain
• Helped lead the team to a South Sectional Championship as a senior
• Two-time Tri Valley League MVP
• Played for the FC Stars of Massachusetts ECNL club team
• Three-time honor roll member

Francesca Ciatto | Bethesda, Md./Stone Ridge School

• Played varsity soccer under Head Coaches KJ Spisak and Luis Rodriguez
• Two-time team captain
• Three-time All-Conference selection
• Member of varsity tennis and basketball
• Played for the Bethesda Soccer Club ECNL team
• Vice President of her class as a senior
• Three-time honor roll member

Phoebe Murphy | Hingham, Mass./Hingham

• Played varsity soccer under Head Coach Ryan Puntiri
• Captained the team during her senior year
• Helped lead the team to three league titles and a State Championship in 2016
• Played for the South Shore Select club team
• Helped the team to a 2018 NPL National Championship and a 2017 US National Cup Championship
• Three-time honor roll member

Allie Raynor | Storrs, Conn./E.O. Smith

• Played varsity soccer under Head Coach Gui Estes
• Played for the Oakwood Soccer Club as part of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy under Head Coach Matt Cameron
• Has captained the team from 2015 to present
• CT ALL-Conference player
• Member of the varsity basketball team
• CT Association of Schools Scholar Leader award

Alexis Riley | Franklin Lakes, N.J./Montclair Kimberly Academy

• Played varsity soccer under Head coach Jordan Raper
• Captained the team as a senior
• Helped lead the team to a North Sectional Championship in 2017
• Recorded seven goals and 14 assists in her career
• Three-time all-conference selection
• Played for the Match Fit Academy ECNL club team
• Four-time honor roll member

Mackenzie Wagner | Litchfield, N.H./Campbell

• Played varsity soccer under Head Coach Kevin Brassard
• Captained the team as a senior
• Named to the all-state first team
