WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross softball team dropped a single game to UMass Lowell on Thursday, April 26. Sophomore Sydney Behrens went 2-3 with two RBIs and two putouts. Katelyn Ellard pitched seven innings for the Riverhawks and improved to 2-4 on the season.

Seventh Inning:
- The Crusaders scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning after trailing the Riverhawks, 4-0.
- Freshman Alyssa Gutierrez singled and sophomore Sydney Burr was walked to put the Crusaders in scoring position.
- Behrens hit a single up the middle and recorded two RBIs.
- With the 4-2 advantage, the Riverhawks closed the inning and secured the win.
