The Lead: Five Crusaders earned first-place finishes as the Crusaders finished second at the Minuteman Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the 100 m dash, freshman Alexandra Curtin (Winchester, Mass.) finished second overall with a time of 12.24. Curtin also earned a third-place finish in the 200 m dash, registering a time of 26.55.
• Sophomore Meghan Dietter (Sherman, Conn.) placed second overall in the 400 m dash, setting a time of 58.51.
• Junior Rachel Sowinski (Mountain Top, Pa.) finished second in the 800 m run in a time of 2:14.12.
• Sophomore Zoe Matherne (Camp Hill, Pa.) earned the top finish in the 1500 m run with a time of 4:28.43.
• In the 10,000 m run, sophomore Hannah Jeter (Eden Prairie, Minn.) earned the top finish in a time of 37:10.39.
• Sophomore Erin Ahearn (Ringwood, N.J.) placed first in the 3,000 m steeplechase with a time of 11:45.96.
• In the pole vault, junior Samantha Speroni (Palos Verdes Peninsula, Calif.) set a height of 3.55 m to earn first place overall.
• Junior Alex Eldracher (Woodbridge, Conn.) placed first overall in the triple jump with a mark of 10.86 m.
