• The Lead: The Crusaders finished 10th at the 2016 Joe Donahue Games on Friday afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Junior Kirsty Gargiulo (Summit, N.J.) finished seventh in the 3000 m run with a time of 10:35.08, while sophomore Erin Ahearn (Ringwood, N.J.) came in 12th at 10:49.60 and junior Kara McCormack (Bolton, Mass.) finished 19th at 11:06.14.
• In the 60 m hurdles, freshman Isabella DiMare (South Weymouth, Mass.) finished 11th in a time of 9.09.
• Sophomore Zoe Matherne (Camp Hill, Pa.) finished ninth in the 500 m run with a time of 1:18.33, while senior Catherine Gildea (Milford, Conn.) came in 10th at 1:18.92 and sophomore Stefanie McArdle (South Glastonbury, Conn.) finished 12th at 1:19.64.
• In the one mile run, junior Mary Welsh (Manhasset, N.Y.) finished 16th overall with a time of 5:12.62, while sophomore Annie Sullivan (Southborough, Mass.) came in 20th at 5:16.31 and junior Caroline Carr (Ridgefield, Conn.) finished 22nd at 5:18.26.
• Junior Gabriela West (Chester, N.J.) finished 20th in the 400 m dash in a time of 1:00.71.
• In the 800 m run, sophomore Meghan Dietter (Sherman, Conn.) finished eighth in a time of 2:19.58, as sophomore Kate Spitler (Marshfield, Mass.) finished 12th at   2:21.09.
• Junior Rachel Sowinski (Mountain Top, Pa.) finished fifth in the 1000 m run in a time of 2:59.74, while sophomore Claire Turner (Norwalk, Conn.) came in ninth at 3:02.74.
• DiMare finished ninth in the 200 m dash with a time of 25.57.
• In the 3000 m run, sophomore Hannah Jeter (Eden Prairie, Minn.) finished ninth at 10:10.05.
• In the long jump, junior Alexa Eldracher (Woodbridge, Conn.) placed 13th with a mark of 5.30 m.
• Junior Samantha Speroni (Palos Verdes, Calif.) placed ninth in the pole vault with a height of 3.45 m.
• Eldracher placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 11.42 m, while sophomore Alanna Hitscherich (Sussex, N.J.) placed ninth at 10.81 m and senior Alex Eckert (Bergenfield, N.J.) came in 15th at 10.40 m.
• In the 4x400 m relay, the squad of Gildea, McArdle, Dietter and Matherne finished ninth in a time of 4:01.73.
