WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior forward Elizabeth Scala has been named the GoHolyCross.com Crusader of the Week, for competition from Nov. 2-8. Scala helped lead the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team to a perfect 2-0 record last week.
During Saturday's 6-0 victory over Manhattanville, Scala scored the Crusaders' second goal of the game in addition to recording an assist. Then in Sunday's 5-3 win over Salve Regina, she netted a goal to put Holy Cross up 2-1 while posting another assist. The four points over the weekend were the first of Scala's collegiate career.
On the season, Scala is now tied for third on the team in scoring with four points on two goals and two assists.
