MANCHESTER, N.H. – Five members of the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team found the back of the net Saturday afternoon as the Crusaders defeated St. Anslem 6-1 in Manchester, N.H. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 4-1-0 overall (3-0-0 ECAC), while the Hawks fall to 3-2-0 (2-1-0 ECAC).

Holy Cross got the scoring started six minutes into the first period when sophomore forward Caroline English (Dorchester, Mass.) found the back of the net. St. Anselm's Rosemarie Giarrusso evened the score at the 11:25 mark to end the first period in a 1-1 tie.

Sophomore forward Alex Campione (Townsend, Mass.), senior forward Jocelyn Kratchmer (Watrous, Saskatchewan) and junior forward Stacey Hochkins (New Boston, Mich.) each got past the St. Anlsem goaltender in the second period to put the Crusaders up 4-1.

Just over a minute into the third period, senior forward Christina D'Ambrogio (Toronto, Ontario) found the back of the net for her first score of the day. Hochkins added her second goal of the afternoon at the seven minute mark to end the game, 6-1, in favor of the Crusaders.

Junior goaltender Carly Dominick-Sobol (Syracuse, N.Y.) recorded 24 saves to earn her second win of the season. St. Anselm's Amy Zappen and Meghan Grant combined in the loss, with Zappen allowing six goals and recording 17 saves. St. Anslem outshot the Crusaders 25-23, while the Crusaders went 1-6 on the power play and the Hawks were 0-2.

Holy Cross returns to the Hart Center on Friday, Nov. 19 for a 7:00 p.m. league game against Manhattanville.
