A political science major from Winchester, Mass., Dan O’Connell holds the all-time ground balls program record with 230. Over his career, he won a total of 446 faceoffs for a .631 winning percentage. During his senior year, he helped the team rank ninth nationally in faceoff winning percentage (.633), while he also individually ranked ninth nationally and second in the Patriot League (.662).
