Caroline Frey, a captain for the Holy Cross women’s track and field team, owns five total school records for the Crusaders, including four individual records.
As a junior competing at the 2019 Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championship, Frey broke the outdoor Holy Cross record in the 400 meters, running a time of 56.63 seconds and placing sixth. During her senior indoor season, Frey broke three total school records, in the 300 (39.66), 400 (55.78) and 500 (1:13.63).
She additionally earned a spot on the podium in the 400 meters at the 2020 Patriot League Indoor Championship, running a time of 57.04 in the finals to place third. Her record-breaking performance in the 500 meters came in the final meet of her Holy Cross career, when she placed sixth in the event at the ECAC Championship.
Frey (Riverside, Conn.) will graduate Holy Cross with a degree in computer science, and has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in her career.
