Having raced at every distance between 100 and 600 meters during his career, Freddie Halloran has excelled in the long sprints and hurdles during his four seasons with the Holy Cross men’s track and field team.
He was a member of the school record-setting 4x400m relay team, which ran a 3:20.58 at the 2019 Patriot League indoor championship as the Crusaders placed fifth. He has been a mainstay of the Crusaders’ relay team over the last four seasons; earlier this year, during the 2020 indoor championship, he was a part of the 4x400 relay team that placed fourth.
He individually scored points with his eighth-place finishes in the 400 hurdles at the 2017 and 2019 Patriot League outdoor championships.
His personal bests include 50.51 seconds in the 400 meters, 1:06.00 in the 500 meters and 54.31 seconds in the 400 meter hurdles.
Halloran (Amesbury, Mass.) has been selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll each of the last three years, and will graduate Holy Cross with a degree in biology.
