Freshman goaltender Danick Leroux has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition from November 17 to 23. 

Leroux recorded his first collegiate shutout in Sunday's 1-0 win over Alaska Anchorage. Leroux made 28 saves, 13 of which came in the third period.

Leroux now carries a 2.26 goals-against average and .921 save percentage through his four starts this season, and holds a 3-1-0 record.

Leroux and the Crusaders (9-5-1, 7-1-1 AHA) will travel to No. 8 Quinnipiac for a 5 p.m. matchup on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, Conn., before returning home for their final game of the first half on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. against Mercyhurst.
