While her softball career only lasted 11 games, Kelly Crowley was still a huge part of the team this season.
A history major from San Marino, Calif., Crowley’s infectious attitude and drive to be a better athlete helped her become an integral part of a completely new squad in just a few short months. She appeared in one game with the softball team, coming on to pinch run and scoring a run in a 3-0 win over St. Bonaventure.
Better known for her accomplishments on the soccer field as a four-year member of the Holy Cross women’s soccer team, Crowley was named to the All-Patriot League first team after a career year saw her lead the Crusaders with three goals, two of the game-winning variety, and nine points. She was instrumental in leading the program to its first postseason appearance in 19 years.
Crowley was also named to the Academic All-Patriot League team.
