Taylor Schmidt is in her first year as the head coach of the women’s golf program at the College of the Holy Cross in 2022-2023.
Schmidt joined the Crusaders after three seasons as an assistant golf professional at Springfield Country Club, where she serves in a full-time teaching role, including group and individual instruction. She coaches the Springfield Country Club PGA Junior League team, with a 62 player roster as of 2022, while also developing and teaching an all-female junior development program in 2021.
She previously spent three seasons as an associate head coach at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H., with the team winning a Northeast-10 Conference championship in 2019 and 2021 while also reaching the super regionals.
Schmidt joined the Ravens’ coaching staff after playing four varsity seasons at Franklin Pierce, including two as a team captain. During her time as a student-athlete, Schmidt made a trip to the 2018 NCAA Division II Tournament East Super Regional, and earned Northeast-10 Conference second team laurels.
A native of West Springfield, Mass., Schmidt graduated from Franklin Pierce as a health science major and an anthropology minor in May 2018. She is currently completing a master’s degree in business administration from Franklin Pierce.
