Nick Perron

Nick Perron enters his second year as the head equipment manager at Holy Cross in 2022-23. 

Perron comes to The Hill following almost 10 years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) He wore many hats at MIT as the assistant varsity equipment specialist starting in June 2015. Nick mostly managed varsity equipment duties for four Division I crew reams and provided equipment related duties to the programs. He also handled the Division III soccer, baseball, softball, water polo, swimming & diving, women's basketball and rifle programs. In January 2021, Perron received his Athletic Equipment Managers Association Certification (AEMA).

He started at MIT as an assistant football coach in June 2012 working as the special teams coordinator, wide receivers coach and handled football operations for the Engineers. Nick was a three time conference champion helping lead the squad to the 2014 New England Football Conference Championship and back-to-back New England Men's and Women's Conference titles (2018, 2019). 

In Cambridge, Perron was the NCAA Tournament site liaison for women's soccer (2019, 2021), softball (2019) and women's volleyball (2021) as well.

Perron is a 2004 graduate of Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. receiving his degree in sport management. He earned his master's of professional studies degree with a focus in sport leadership from Northeastern in April 2022. 

Nick lives in Ashland with his wife Jessica, daughter Josephine and son Leo.
