Kevin Consoles enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Holy Cross track and field teams in 2023-2024.

Consoles joins the Crusaders after spending three seasons as an assistant track and field coach for Moses Brown School. He coached the school record holder in the 55m dash, long jump and the 4x200m relay. Consoles coached the 2023 Indoor New England Long Jump Champion who broke the Rhode Island State Championship long jump record. He helped lead the women’s indoor track and field team to a second place finish at the state championship in 2023 and helped the team to back-to-back indoor and outdoor Class Championships (2022 and 2023).

Previous to his time with Moses Brown School he was a volunteer coach for the Providence Cobras Track and Field Club in 2021 and the head coach of the Rogers High School Girls’ Track and Field team in 2020-21. With the Providence Cobras Consoles helped implement responsible programming for high school track and field athletes and worked with individuals from the 4x400m National High School Championship as well as the 400m Rhode Island State Champion.

Consoles earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Tampa. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2016 and earned his Masters of Science in EXercise and Nutrition Science in 2017. He currently holds certifications as a USA Track and Field Level 1 Coach, National Strength and Conditioning Association Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
