Kellen Jones enters his first season on the men's ice hockey staff for the 2025-26 campaign.
A two-year captain at Quinnipiac, Jones finished his career with the Bobcats with 127 career points, a trip to the Frozen Four, and a National Championship appearance during his four-year career. Following his time in Hamden, Jones played eight seasons of professional hockey, including stops in the AHL with Oklahoma City, Bridgeport, Bakersfield, Utica, and Worcester, and three seasons in Europe.

Since 2010, Jones has been the owner and manager of Champions Hockey School and Academy, a full day camp for athletes 5 – 25, which coaches on and off-ice skills. A 2010 seventh-round pick by the Edmonton Oilers, Jones played juniors for the BCHL's Vernon Vipers, helping the team to two National Championships in his three seasons with the club.
