Christopher Herrion

Chris Herrion enters his fourth year at Holy Cross and third as the Director of Marketing and Fan Experience for Holy Cross during the 2024-25 season. Herrion oversees the marketing and promotional efforts for men’s ice hockey and women’s basketball as well as execution for all Olympic sports.

Herrion comes to Holy Cross following a his time as a brand ambassador for the New England Revolution where he attended hundreds of marketing events in the region to promote the team. He also assisted in the operating of the Revolution Fan Zone and aided with customer service to fans visiting Gillette Stadium.

Herrion spent a year at Boston College as a ticket sales and services intern where he carried out initiatives resulting in over 1,300 new sales contacts. He also provided high quality customer service to season ticket holders, and executed stadium tours and activities on game days.

Prior to his stint at Boston College, he was an athletics assistant for the Middlesex Community College where he managed content on the college’s website and social media platforms, resulting in a 10% increase in followers month to month. Herrion managed event schedules, budgets and fundraisers for intramural and club teams. He also assisted in the rebranding and promotion of the school’s redesigned mascot.

Herrion received a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in coaching from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2013. He then returned to school at Nichols College where he earned a second bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in sports management. While at Nichols, Herrion worked as an external operations intern for Boston College where he led marketing and promotional efforts for the field hockey team. He also assisted with in-game promotions and activities for basketball and hockey.
