Chase Ferguson joined Holy Cross as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Operations, Events and Championships in May 2023.
Ferguson arrives at Holy Cross from Miami University in Ohio, where he most recently served as the assistant director of sport and facility services. Ferguson oversaw operations and game management for the RedHawks’ soccer, baseball, ice hockey, and swim and dive programs, while also overseeing student workers and ushers for select events. He also managed equipment operations for the baseball, soccer, and swim and dive programs.
Prior to his time with the RedHawks, Ferguson served as an operations, events, and championships assistant at Bowling Green State University from 2017-2021. Throughout his tenure, he assisted with seven Mid-American Conference Championship events, and assisted with game management for football, soccer, gymnastics, baseball, and softball contests. During the pandemic, Ferguson developed and implemented Bowling Green’s facility protocols and procedures.
In the summer of 2018, Ferguson interned with the Mid-American Conference as a championships and sport development intern, during which he developed the 2019-20 schedules for the 22 sports sponsored by the conference. He began his career as a building manager and event attendant at Bowling Green (2016-2019).
Ferguson is a 2019 graduate of Bowling Green, where he earned an undergraduate degree in sport management.
