For the last three years, she served as the assistant director of athletics for content and digital strategy. She leads the department’s content team in order to engage fans and deliver robust insights through video, communications, media relations, social media, digital strategy and graphic design. Crandall is also the sport supervisor for the women's basketball and men's lacrosse programs.

Crandall came to Holy Cross after spending 10 years at Bryant University, including four years as the assistant director of athletics for communications. She coordinated the publicity of Bryant’s 22 Division I varsity programs and served as the primary media contact for men’s basketball, volleyball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse and golf. Crandall also oversaw all athletic communication, traditional media, social media and digital media initiatives within the department, including the creation of media guides, press releases, game programs and brochures, among other publications.

She also handled Bryant’s print and web-based graphic design needs, producing materials ranging from banners and wall murals to web design and publication layout. Crandall was responsible for the content management and oversight of the Bulldogs’ official website, as well as the design and creation of other forms of artwork for Bryant Athletics and its facilities. In addition, she oversaw the Bryant Sports Network, Bryant’s digital media and webcasting platform, with more than 100 live broadcasts each year.

As a member of Bryant’s athletic administration, Crandall served on the senior staff and was the sport supervisor for field hockey and women’s soccer. She also served on the Northeast Conference’s Sports Management Committee and as the NEC SID Chair.

Crandall has played a leadership role in developing several successful athletic administration and sports information professionals, with former assistants having gone on to work for the University of South Florida, Loyola, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Villanova, Fairfield, Merrimack College, the America East and PrestoSports, among others.

Crandall graduated from Boston University in 2007 with a degree in print journalism. While at BU, she spent three years writing for Boston University’s independent daily newspaper, The Daily Free Press. During her tenure at the Free Press, Crandall served as sports editor as well as beat writer for men’s basketball and men’s ice hockey.

A native of Easton, Pa., Crandall is a member of CoSIDA, ECAC-SIDA and Words Unlimited. She and her husband, Tim, have one daughter (Delaney) and one son (Ethan).
