Alicia Caswell is in her 11th year as an athletic trainer at the College of the Holy Cross in 2023-24, and currently serves as the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine.
She works on a day-to-day basis as an athletic trainer for the Crusader football, men's and women's golf teams, in addition to providing support for a number of other varsity sports.
Caswell serves as the sports medicine department’s policy and procedures coordinator, having finalized the official concussion policy while helping to integrate the web-based concussion education module. She is also a preceptor for the Springfield College athletic training program, in which students in the athletic training program work with Holy Cross teams during the season.
Prior to her time at Holy Cross, Caswell spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Massachusetts, where she worked on a daily basis with the field hockey and baseball squads. Caswell was also responsible for orientation and advising of new graduate assistants, and coordinated the undergraduate student assistant program.
She was previously a part of the Ithaca College athletic training education program, and served as an intern for the Elmira Pioneers of the New York Collegiate Baseball League.
A member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Caswell received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Ithaca in 2011, and her master’s degree in kinesiology from Massachusetts in 2013.
