Aaron Dashiell is in his fifth year as the assistant director of athletics for student-athlete development at the College of the Holy Cross in 2022-23. Dashiell is a part of the senior athletic staff with primary responsibilities around creating and implementing a robust series of programming to emphasize and improve the development and welfare of Holy Cross student-athletes. He also serves as the sport supervisor for the field hockey, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's swimming and diving programs.

Dashiell came to Holy Cross from Bryant University, where he served as the director of undergraduate advising for t six years. He served as the supervisor for nine academic advisors, who worked with 3,500 undergraduates across curriculum, course planning, career planning, college transition and students’ rights and responsibilities. Dashiell also supervised academic services for student-athletes, where his staff advised, certified and assisted with individualized academic assistance for 500 Division I student-athletes.

Prior to his role as the director of undergraduate advising, Dashiell served as Bryant’s associate director of academic services for student-athletes for one year and an assistant director of academic services for student-athletes for five years. He was also an academic advisor for the football team at Rutgers for two years, after beginning his career as an academic advisor at Bryant for two years.

Dashiell is a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. He was a defensive back on the football team during his time as an undergraduate, earning All-America honors during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. Dashiell went on to receive his master’s degree in higher education from Maine in 2002.
