Holy Cross Athletics

2016-2017:

• Competed in the 1 mile, 800, 1,000, and 1,500-meter run, 4 x 400 and 4 x 800-meter Relay
• Posted career-best time for the 1-mile run (5:20.31) at the Tiger’s All Comers Invitational (1/14) and finished in sixth place
• Finished fourth in the 800-meter run (2:20.10) at the Holy Cross Invitational (4/22)
• Qualified for and finished 22nd in the 800-meter run (2:20.28) at the Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championships (5/5)
• Qualified for and finished 13th in the 4 x 800m (9:15.96) at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2015-2016:

• Competed in the 800, 1,000 and 1,500m runs
• Recorded career-best times in the 800m (2:14.69) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (5/6), in the 1,000m (2:56.16) at the New England Indoor Championship (2/26) and in the 1,500m (4:51.29) at the Mason Spring Invitational (4/9)
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2014-2015: 

• Competed in the 800, 1,000 and 1,500-meter runs
• Also competed on the 4x800-meter relay team
• Posted season-high times in the 800 (2:31.15) at the Minutemen Invitational, in the 1,000 (3:12.86) at the Joe Donahue Games and the 1,500 (5:11.85)  at the Holy Cross Invitational.

Before Holy Cross:

• Three-year member of the varsity cross country team at Marshfield High School
• Team captain in 2013
• Named Atlantic Coast League All-Star in 2012 and 2013
• Team won ACL championship in 2012 and 2013
• Set a 5K personal record of 19:16
• Three-year member of the varsity indoor track team
• Team captain for the 2013-2014 season
• Named ACL All-Star for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons
• Team won ACL championship in 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons
• Qualified for the New Balance Indoor Nationals with a 600 meter time of 1:39.97
• Two-year member of the varsity outdoor track team
• Named ACL All-Star in 2013
• Team won ACL championship in 2013
• Member of National Honor Society.

Personal:

• Daughter of Bruce and Karen Spitler
• Father was a member of the swim team at Purdue
• Has one brother (Brian)
• Also runs cross country.
