Biography
2016-2017:
- Competed in the pole vault
- Placed eighth (3.50m) at the Boston University Season Opener
- Finished 13th (3.20m) at the Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championships and 15th (3.25m) at the NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championships
- Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
2015-2016:
- Notched a team-best and career-high height of 3.60m in the pole vault at the ECAC Indoor Championship (3/4)
2014-2015:
- Competed in the pole vault
- Cleared season-best times of 3.50 meters at the New England Indoor Championship and Patriot League Outdoor Championship.
Before Holy Cross:
- Four-year member of the varsity outdoor track team at Keene High School
- Team captain for 2013 and 2014 seasons
- Earned All-State honors in 2013 and 2014
- Won the state championship in the pole vault in 2013 (11’6”)
- Two-year member of the varsity soccer team
- Participated with the math team and student council.
Personal:
- Daughter of Joseph and Michelle Briggs
- Has one brother (Joseph) and one sister (Jacilyn)
- Jacilyn is a member of the track team at Northeastern
- A Global Health major
