Biography
• Ranked fourth all-time at Holy Cross in the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.78) and eighth in the 100-yard butterfly (58.12)
HONORS & AWARDS:
• Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2025-2026)
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2025-2026:
• Honored as the team’s Rookie of the Year
• Finished 18th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.65) At the Patriot League Championship
• Had a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:11.52) at Colgate
HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB:
• Competed at Deep Run High School under head coach Franklin McCracken
• Earned All-State and All-Region honors
• Three-time state finalist and regional medalist
• Team finished as the regional runner-up three times
• Also lettered in cross country and track, where she was a team captain and state qualifier
• Competed for the SwimRVA club team
• Member of National Honor Society
PERSONAL:
• Twin sister, Josie Van Schaften, swam at Lafayette
