Holy Cross Athletics

2018-2019:

• Had 6 top five and 16 top ten finishes on the year
• Set personal-best times in the 50 free at the Patriot League Championship (26.28) and in the 50 fly at the   Husky Invitational (30.98)
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2017-2018:

• Took second in the 200 Medley Relay with an overall time of 1:54.19 against Iona
• Placed first in the 400 Medley Relay with a final time of 4:08.28 against Siena
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2016-2017:

• Competed in individual events including the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 100 fly, 100 IM, and 200 IM
• Recorded season-best times in the 200 freestyle (2:01.38) and the 100 fly (1:02.55) at the 2017 Patriot League Championships (2/16), in the 100 breaststroke (1:25.23) against Assumption (10/1), and in the 200 meter backstroke (2:27.59) and 100 meter backstroke (1:10.63) against Providence (1/21)

2015-2016:

• Competed in five individual events including the 100 butterfly, 100 and 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle and 100 IM
• Also competed in the 200 and 400 freestyle relay, as well as the 200 and 400 medley relay
• Recorded season-best times in the 100 butterfly (1:02.60) and 100 backstroke (1:01.29) at the Patriot League Championship (2/19), in the 100 freestyle (1:00.26) and 100 IM (1:09.29) at the Assumption Pentathlon (10/3) and in the 200 backstroke (2:09.22) at the Worcester City Championship (1/16)
• Led the team in the  200 backstroke (2:16.16) at the Worcester City Championship
• Swam as a member of the 200 (1:51.66 ) and 400 (4:03.78) medley relay teams that posted a team-best times at the Patriot League Championship  
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

Before Holy Cross:

• Swam with the Adirondack Aquatic Club
• Four year varsity member of the Bishop Feehan swimming team, where she participated in the backstroke and butterfly
• Team captain her senior year
• Sun Chronicle All-Star 2011-2014
• Graduated in the top ten of her class
• Earned the Presidential Award 2012-2015

• Daughter of Doug and Susan O'Brien
• Both Doug and Susan swam at Bowdoin
• Has two brothers, Dan and Kevin
• Majoring in english and political science
