Holy Cross Athletics

2016-2017:

• Competed in individual events including 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1000 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 100 fly, 100 IM, and the 200 IM
• Recorded season-best times in the 100 meter free (1:05.59) and the 800 meter free (10:21.74) against Providence (1/21), in the 500 free (5:30.05) and the 1650 free (19:38.71) at the Harold Anderson Invitational (11/19), and in the 200 IM (2:28.18) against Siena (10/19)

2015-2016:

• Competed in nine individual events including the 100 backstroke, 100 and 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 100, 200 and 500 freestyle, 100 and 400 IM
• Also competed in the 200 and 400 medley relay, as well as the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle
• Recorded season-best times in the 100 backstroke (1:14.57), 100 butterfly (1:17.93), 100 IM (1:13.19) at the Assumption Pentathlon (10/3), in the 100 breaststroke (1:16.06) and 100 freestyle (1:00.75) versus Providence (1/23), in the 200 freestyle (2:07.72), 200 breaststroke (2:42.99) and 400 IM (5:15.82) at the Worcester City Championship (1/16) and in the 500 freestyle (5:40.08) at the Patriot League Championship (2/19)

Before Holy Cross:

• Four-year member of the varsity swimming team at Duxbury High School
• Team captain for the 2013-2014 season
• Team won the Patriot League championship in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014
• Participated on the Kingfish Swim club team
• Member of National Honor Society
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Personal:

• Daughter of John and Denise Buckley
• Has three sisters (Ashley, Kaitlin and Mary)
• Kaitlin swam at Bryant University
• Ashley ran track at Holy Cross (Class of 2011)
• Aunt Jeanmarie was a member of the track and basketball teams at Holy Cross (Class of 1987).
