2012-2013: Competed in five individual eventsincluding the 100 and 200 breaststrokes, 100 butterfly, 200backstroke and 200 individual medley…swam in meets againstAssumption (10/6) Fairfield (10/13) and Springfield (10/27), aswell as at the New England Catholic Invitational (10/18), theBoston University Invitational (11/16-11/18) and the HaroldAnderson Invitational (11/30-12/1)…member of the Holy CrossLeadership Academy.

2011-2012: Competed in our different individualevents including the 100 and 200 breaststrokes, 100 butterfly and200 individual medley…posted season-best times at theTerrier Invitational in the 100 breast (1:13.82), 200 breast(2:36.33) and 200 IM (2:21.76)…named to the Patriot LeagueAcademic Honor Roll.

2010-2011:Finished in 21st place in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of2:36.02 at the Patriot League Championship.

Before Holy Cross:Four-year member of the varsity swim team at Ronald ReaganH.S...team captain senior year...All-Conference all fouryears...team was regional champions and state runners-up in 2007,2008 and 2009...member of the cross country team in 2007 and2008...All-Conference both seasons...also a three-year member ofthe track and field team...named Rookie of the Year...swam for theNorthwest Riptyde club team...member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of James and LauraMcGowan...has two brothers (Bruce and Sean) and one sister(Theresa)...self-designed major through the Center forInterdisciplinary and Special Studies.
