2013-2014: Memberof the second varsity eight in three spring regattas…rowedfor the third varsity eight at the Eastern Sprints (May 4) and forthe second varsity eight at the Patriot League Championship (May16)…member of the freshman eight that won the novice eightrace at the Textile River Regatta (Oct. 6) and placed fifth at theHead of the Schuylkill Regatta (Oct. 26)…earned PatriotLeague Academic Honor Roll accolades.
Before Holy Cross:Attended Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart…member of theNorth Suburban Crew club team under coach Heather LaVigne…team had two lightweight boats in 2012 NationalChampionship…member of National Honor Society, Science HonorSociety and Latin Honor Society.
Personal: Daughterof Joseph and Mary Clare Starshak…father attended Universityof Notre Dame and rowed at Oxford University for MagdalenCollege…has two brothers (William and Albert) and threesisters (Clare, Sarah and Barbara)…brother, William, was amember of the rowing team at Georgetown…brother, Albert, wasa member of the fencing team at Boston College…sister,Clare, was a member of the sailing team at Georgetown…aunt,Suzanne Cameron (Class of 1986) and cousin, Catherine Glunz (Classof 1993) both graduated from Holy Cross…has not yet declareda major.
