Biography
2016-2017:
- Competed as a member of the varsity eight in all fall regattas and eight in the spring
- Was a member of the varsity eight that placed third at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 15)
- Raced in the varsity eight boat that defeated Colgate (Apr. 2)
- Was a member of the second varsity eight that won bronze at the Patriot League Championship (May 12)
Before Holy Cross:
- Six-season member of the varsity rowing team at Newton Country Day School under head coach Katherine Spelman serving as team captain in 2015-2016
- She was a member of her team's second boat that placed third at NEIRAs (2015)
- In 2014, her team placed 24th at the Head of the Charles Regatta
- Placed first with her team's second boat in 2013 and 2014 at the New England High School Championship
- Placed second at the 2015 Head of the Housatonic with her team's second boat
- Served as a member of the National Honor Society
Personal:
- Daughter of Patrick and Mary Cogan
- Has two brothers (Kevin and Dennis)
- Has three cousins who attended Holy Cross: Neil Hayes (Class of 1932), James Hayes (Class of 1972) and Colin Hayes (Class of 2012). Colin was a member of the Holy Cross men's rowing team
