Biography
2012-2013: Rowedfor the novice eight that defeated Smith (March 30)…placedfirst with the third varsity eight versus Rutgers and George Mason(April 27)…member of the third varsity eight that won thegrand final at the Eastern Sprints (May 5)…rowed for thesecond varsity eight that placed second at the Patriot LeagueChampionship (May 17), which was the best ever result for a HolyCross second varsity eight boat at the Patriot LeagueChampionship.
Before Holy Cross:Attended the Westover School…four-year member and seniorcaptain of the varsity soccer team…made 130 saves as ajunior and 155 saves as a senior…earned 2012 All-Starhonors…also played for the Northwest Rovers club soccerteam…team won the 2011 Suffield Tournament and the 2011Guilford Tournament…four-year member and senior captain ofthe varsity basketball team…one-year member of the varsitysoftball team…head of the school’s African LatinaStudent Alliance, Asian Culture Club and Gospel Choir.
Personal: Daughter of John and BarbaraPretto…has one brother, Jack, who is a member of theswimming team at Harvard (Class of 2014)...has not yet declared amajor.
