Vanessa Gabaldon joins the Holy Cross women's rowing program as an assistant coach for her first season in 2024-25.
A 2023 graduate of Creighton University, Gabaldon competed for four years on the varsity rowing team. Serving as a captain in her senior season, Gabaldon helped the Bluejays to a program-best second place finish in the Varsity 8 at the University of Kansas' Jayhawk Jamboree, and a program-best third place finish in the West Coast Conference.
Following her time as a student-athlete at Creighton, Gabaldon stayed with the program as an assistant coach for the 2023-24 season. As a coach, Gabaldon worked primarily with the novice, freshman recruits, and team 4's.
Gabaldon earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology, sociology, and criminal justice in 2023, and a Master of Arts in negotiation and conflict resolution in 2024, both from Creighton.
