Tim Bibaud returns to the College of the Holy Cross as an assistant coach for the golf programs in 2023-24. He previously spent six years as the head women’s golf coach. During his tenure, the Crusaders have earned 29 selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Bibaud was instrumental in the development of Jackie Gonzalez, who earned Patriot League Co-Rookie of the Year honors at the 2016-2017 Patriot League Championship. She tied for 16th overall in the tournament, and became the first student-athlete in the program's history to capture a conference major award. Gonzalez went on to finish her career with the top four single-season scoring averages in school history, including a record average of 79.9 strokes per round during the 2018-2019 season.

Bibaud came to Holy Cross from Assumption College, where he spent 21 seasons as the head men’s golf coach from 1994-2015. He led the Greyhounds to five NCAA regional appearances during his time at Assumption, and received the 2004 Gordon McCollough Award as the New England Coach of the Year. Bibaud also served on the board of the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association for many years, including a term as president. In addition, his teams posted a perfect 100 percent graduation rate.

Bibaud is a 1981 graduate of Holy Cross with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He was a four-year member of the golf team for the Crusaders, serving as team captain during his junior and senior seasons. Bibaud went on to graduate from the New England School of Law in 1988, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1989.

From 1988-2010, Bibaud served as an assistant district attorney for Worcester County. He established the gang and organized crime unit in 1992, and received the St. Thomas More Award in 2010. In August of 2010 Bibaud was appointed associate justice of the district court, then in January of 2012 he was appointed first justice of the Dudley district court.

Bibaud also has experience coaching basketball. He was the head boys’ basketball coach at Worcester North High School from 1994-2002 and at St. Peter-Marian High School from 2002-2006. In addition, he was an assistant men’s basketball coach at Assumption from 2004-2008.
