2011: Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll … ran a season-best 5K time of 24:49.08 at the Bryant Invitational on Sept. 10 … also ran at the Blue Devil Invitational (54th, 23:40).

Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity cross country team at North Reading H.S. … named Unsung Heroine in 2007 and MVP in 2009 and 2010 … received Lawrence Eagle Tribune All-Star honorable mention in 2009 and 2010 … also a four-year member of the indoor and outdoor track teams … captain of both the cross country and track teams as a senior … received the Coach’s Award for indoor track as a senior … served as secretary of National Honor Society … named a Lester Levey Scholar-Athlete … received the  Excellence in U.S. History award.  

Personal: Daughter of David C. McBride and Lorraine Garrity … father was a member of the cross country and track and field teams at Tufts … has one sister, Caroline, who is a member of the Stonehill College cross country and track and field teams … uncle T. Kirk McBride (class of 1975) was a member of the Holy Cross men’s hockey team … has not yet declared a major.
