Erika Winter enters her third year as an athletic trainer at Holy Cross in 2024-25.
Winter comes to The Hill following three years at OPT Physical Therapy as a contract athletic trainer to Mt. Hope High School. Erika was in charge of all the athletic teams and was responsible for developing unique rehabilitation plans due to lack of modalities, space and time with athletes while creating new protocols for their emergency action plans and student conduct guidelines. Winter was also a nurse tech at Mt. Hope High School as well.
She provided per diem athletic coverage for Brown University and Roger Williams University. As a student, Erika provided coverage for the Penn women's basketball team in the spring of 2018 and for the Arcadia men's soccer program in the fall of 2017.
Erika graduated from Temple in May of 2019 with a bachelor's of science degree in athletic training. She is currently working to complete her master's degree in exercise science and health promotion with a concentration in rehabilitation science from the California University of Pennsylvania in fall of 2022.
