CAREER HONORS

• Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2020-21 and 2021-22)

2022-23 INDOOR (JUNIOR):

• Placed 16th in the 1,000 meters at the Alden Invitational with a time of 2:49.05, a personal best.

2022 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Set a personal best in the 1,500 meters (4:19.75) at the Holy Cross Invitational.
• Set a personal best in the 800 meters at the Holy Cross Men’s Meet with a time of 2:01.85.

2021-22 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Helped 4x800 relay take fifth at the NEICAAA Indoor Championship.

2021 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN):

• Placed 10th with a season best time of 4:20.79 in the 1500 meters against Rhode Island (4/21). 
• Outdoor portion of season shortened due to COVID-19.

2020-21 INDOOR (FRESHMAN):

• Did not compete. 
• Indoor portion of season shortened and ran in the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19.

BEFORE HOLY CROSS: 

• Varsity letterwinner in cross country and track at Oliver Ames under coach Kyle Sousa.
• Served as a team captain as a junior and senior.
• Team earned 2019 Hockomock League Championship in cross country for the first time in 17 years.
• Two-time Enterprise All Scholastic in cross country (2018, 2019) and indoor track (2019 & 2020).
• Named a Hockomock League All-Star in cross country (2019) and indoor track (2020).
• Owns a PR of 16:05 in 5K. 
• Won division state championships in distance medley relay (2020) and 4x800m relay (2019).
• Personal bests in track include 4:26 (1 mile), 2:39 (1000m), 2:01 (800m) and 52.3 (400m).
• Served as an MIAA Student Ambassador. 
• Four-year academic honor roll member.
• Member of Model Senate, DECA and Spanish Club. 

PERSONAL: 

• Son of Hugh and Breffni McLaughlin.
• Has one brother (Conor) and two sisters (Darragh and Kate).
• Plans to major in political science.
