Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity track and field teams at the Hackley School under head coaches John Gillard and Dejan Maksimovic … named captain for both indoor and outdoor track his senior year … named All-League four times and received first team All-County honors in 2012 … team won outdoor Ivy League Preparatory Conference and New York State Association of Independent Schools championships all four years … holds school records in the decathlon and pentathlon, and as part of the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400-meter relay teams … ranked number one in the state of New York in the decathlon and second in the state in the javelin throw in 2012 … finished first in the decathlon shot put and seventh overall in the decathlon at the 2012 New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C. … also a member of the USAT Elite and Maxzone club track and field team.
